Alekson Development Group (ADG) signed an agreement with the Guatemalan government to build six casinos in the country, which will include hotel services and golf courts.
The business group is a Fin City Associates subsidiary, a company that, according to ADG, is focused on Guatemala's economical growth. They signed an agreement with the government to develop those casinos in the capital, Puerto Quetzal, Puerto Barrios and Lago de Atitlán, in the next 10 years. The construction will start in the first term of the next year.
According to a publication released by ADG, the company will develop the casinos in association with the Guatemalan Pediatric Foundation. This association has meant a ‘competitive advantage which is needed to turn into the first casino developer in Guatemala’.
Recreational complexes design ‘capture the real Guatemalan spirit’, said Jim Alekson, Alekson Development Group president, rooms and landscapes have colonial, European and Mayan influences. The report also makes sure that casinos will become world class recreational destinies, jobs opportunities, and training for thousands of Guatemalans.
